What is the reason for chronic neck and shoulder pain?

Hi doctor,

I am a 21 year old female, and I am experiencing chronic neck and shoulder pain. It ranges from dull to severe and happens when I stand or walk for over an hour. I have been experiencing this since I was a child and have never received an explanation or treatment. I am not sure if it is related, but I also have a particularly enlarged bone that sticks out when I tilt my head down, at the base of the back of my neck. My shoulders are in pain every day and it feels like the bones in my shoulders grind together when I move them. Can you give me any information? I am attaching the picture of the bone that sticks out when I tilt my head.

How to manage hip pain aggravated by yoga and exercise?

Hello doctor,

I am a 34-year-old male. My right hip pains when moving the leg in specific positions (best explained in a few photos). Need help in identifying what muscle or tendons are affected so I can move forward with a correct stretching. I suspect a few problems but need an expert opinion. I do not feel any pain in my daily life, and I can play tennis or squash without feeling any pain, but the problem can worsen after exercise and yoga. I have a history of not stretching, and my body is relatively tight, especially hip flexors and leg muscles. I have no history of severe hip, leg or spine injuries. To my recollection, the problem first started a few years back while running down a staircase the pain disappeared after a few weeks. Symptoms began again a few months ago while doing yoga and other exercises. I had a bad habit of putting my right foot under my left thigh while sitting on my office chair (basically sitting on my foot). I do not feel any pain while doing this but could be a factor to my current problems.

What are the methods to manage discomfort after chiropractic adjustments?

Hi doctor,

I am a 30-year-old female. I had lower back pain on the left side of my lower back. So, I consulted a chiropractor, and eight adjustments were done during the last two and a half weeks. The adjustments have helped in my lower back pain. But, I have a sensation in my left back thigh, which is not paining, burning, or pulling, but discomfort is present. I cannot find a word to describe the exact sensation, but I can feel it when I tuck my chin to my chest and bend my upper body forwards. My chiropractor said that the back thigh area is tight. Can you explain this discomfort? Is it normal for tightness to happen since the length of my legs has been adjusted back to be even? Kindly suggest.

Kindly review the MRI reports and suggest the possibility of chiropractic treatment for pain in the right hand and shoulders.

Hello doctor,

My cousin has mild neck pain and severe pain in the right-hand shoulder. Other symptoms include numbness in the right-hand thumb finger and dizziness or a reeling sensation while he goes to bed or wakes up suddenly. He had visited an orthopedist, and they suggested for MRI scan. Please find the report and scans attached. I suggested consulting a chiropractor before starting any medicine as I recently had a good experience with chiropractic treatment. Can you please check the reports and tell if this problem can be cured with chiropractic therapy, or please suggest any treatment for further proceeding? Please let me know if you need any more details. Thank you.

Chiropractic session is not helping my dizziness due to C1 dislocation. Why?

Hello doctor,

I am struggling with dizziness due to C1 being out. My chiropractic sessions are not helping. My chiropractor does not hold the C1 itself, but just my head and cracks. Is what he is doing wrong? Should not he grab the out of place bone and crack it?
