Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

With passion, commitment, and experience, I hope I will be able to provide you with a top-class medical opinion.

You should check the following:

  1. Thyroid level.
  2. Stress level.
  3. Bone density.
  4. Worm test.

You should exercise daily and take a proper diet which will help you in achieving your weight with fitness.

You have to eat every two hours. You have to eat high protein-rich foods (55 gm/day)

I am giving you a diet chart. Alternative foods are also mentioned.

1) Early morning (7 a.m):

Three to four soaked almonds or sprouts.

2) Breakfast (8.30 a.m):

Two brown breads with three boiled eggs (without yolk) / two chapatis with milk or two slices of bread with peanut butter.

3) Midmorning: (11 a.m):

One glass of fruit juice especially pineapple or banana milkshake.

4) Lunch (1.30 pm):

Rice - Two cups.

Vegetable curry - One bowl.

One bowl of egg/rajma/mushroom curry/fish/chicken curry.

One plate salad.

Half cup sour curd.

5) Evening snacks (5.30 pm):

One bowl of vegetarian/chicken stew/semolina porridge.

6) Dinner (8.30 to 9 pm):

One cup of rice or chapati.

One bowl of paneer (cottage cheese) curry.

My advice:

1. Do exercises like strength training or yoga.

2. Avoid stress and alcohol.

3. Take plenty of water (10 glasses a day)

4. You should eat more food at each meal.

5. Before taking a meal you can walk sometimes as it will help you feel hungrier.

6. Sleep at least seven to eight hours per day.

7. You can take chocolate, pastry, cake, chips, butter, and ghee.

8. Take more food at a time

If you have no other health problems and you are physically fit then you do not have to be tense about your weight as you are a teenager. Do not take any supplements for gaining weight at this age. Normal weight gain will be done with increasing age.

1. Young people are always dissatisfied with their height, and weight.

2. Do not compare yourself with others.

3. Aim for strength and fitness.

4. Be satisfied and confident about your looks.

5. Continue with your good diet and exercise and over some time your body will change.

Kindly remember gaining weight is a time taking process. So do not expect any result within a fortnight.

I hope your query got resolved.

Please feel free to reach me again, in case of further queries.

Thank you.
