Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My voice is not deep (I do not talk much) and my muscle mass is also very low. My height is 178 cm, and my weight is 133.3 pounds. And I have memory issues and difficulty in concentrating. I feel this might be due to masturbating daily. Though I want to stop it, I am not able to. What to do? Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to Icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Masturbation is a normal and healthy sexual activity. It does not typically cause physical or mental health problems, including voice deepening, muscle mass loss, memory issues, or lack of concentration. These symptoms may be unrelated to masturbation and could be caused by other factors. If you are concerned about your symptoms, it would be best to consult with a healthcare professional, such as a therapist. They can evaluate your overall health, discuss your concerns, and provide appropriate guidance and support. If you are interested in reducing the frequency of masturbation, here are a few suggestions:

1. Understand your motivations: Reflect on why you want to reduce masturbation and consider if there are any underlying factors contributing to your desire to change this behavior.

2. Set realistic goals: Gradually reduce the frequency rather than trying to stop abruptly. Set achievable targets that work for you.

3. Find alternative activities: Engage in hobbies, exercise, or other activities that can help distract you from the urge to masturbate.

4. Seek support: Consider talking to a therapist or joining a support group to discuss your concerns and receive guidance on managing sexual behaviors. Remember, it is important to approach this topic with self-compassion and understanding.

I hope this information will help you. Please revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
