Before starting keto, you need to understand how it works. The body starts using fat as a source of energy rather than glucose. This switch may take two to three days and can cause headache or nausea which is referred to as keto fever.

I suggest you follow the instructions mentioned below,

1) Do not take any grains.

2) Avoid free sugars.

3) Do not take starchy vegetables in the form of potatoes.

4) All green leafy vegetables are permitted.

5) Include proteins in your diet.

6) Take good fat in the diet in the form of olive oil and virgin coconut oil.

7) Nuts, black olives, and cheese can be preferred as mid-meals.

8) It is very important to hydrate yourself well on a ketogenic diet.

9) Instead of normal milk, fat cream is used and instead of normal curd, hung curd or Greek yogurt can be used.

10) It is suggested to check ketone levels on ketosis or urine strip tests to understand the state of the body.
