Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been working out regularly for around three years. It felt great until a week ago when I noticed while training that my biceps and triceps did not feel anything. I do everything correctly. When I do the bicep exercises, I feel it in my forearms, not my biceps. I do not get a pump from it. I eat and sleep well all the time. What could be the problem?

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

If you are not feeling anything in the biceps while working out, your form may need to be revised to load your biceps. Also, watch your wrist position, which might take the lead in getting loaded by its position and may be too bent forward. Finally, watch your shoulder to see whether it is stretched forward too much. It may compensate for your biceps.

Kindly correct the form first and do with proper supervision. Then, despite everything, if you need to load more, adjust your weight and load appropriately and try maintaining the form. You will get it on the desired muscles.

Hope this helps.

Kindly revert for further queries.

Thank you.
