Shoulder Dislocation

Shoulder dislocation occurs when an injury to the upper arm bone gets dislocated of the shoulder blades cup-shaped socket. The shoulder dislocation can happen forwardly, behind, and downward; forward dislocation is the most common. It is usually excruciating, accompanied by swelling. Treatment involves rest and limiting the movement range, pain medications, and applying ice packs followed by heat application.
