Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am an 18-year-old male with a weight of 191 lbs and a height of 5.3 feet. I want to gain muscles but lose fat.
Can I take protein powder alone as a substitute for food along with fruits and veggies salad for weight loss? Which protein powder do you suggest to me?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
It is not a good idea to replace your food with protein drinks. You will be somehow able to lose weight, but it will not be sustainable as you cannot do it forever. So choose a way of balanced nutrition in combination with the workout. The result may be slow, but it will be forever.
