Hemangiomas are vascular tumors originating from blood vessels and liver hemangiomas are benign (noncancerous) vascular tumors that occur in the liver. They consist of tangled blood vessels. Symptoms of liver hemangioma include pain in the right abdominal region, feeling of fullness after eating small meals, nausea, etc. The exact cause of why these hemangiomas develop is unknown. Liver hemangiomas affect about 20 % of the population.
