Etizolam

Etizolam comes under the group of drugs called Benzodiazepines. The mode of action is by increasing the activity of the chemical messenger (GABA), which diminishes the irregular and disproportionate activity of the nerve cells in the brain. It is used to treat transient anxiety and insomnia. Adverse effects of this drug include confusion, slurry speech, depression, headache, tremor, altered libido, vision impairment, etc.
