Colon Cancer

Colon or large intestine cancer primarily develops in the elderly. Benign polyps on the inner wall of the colon undergo malignant transformation. Symptoms include fatigue, weight loss, bloody stools, changes in bowel habits, etc. Obesity, alcoholism, smoking, sedentary lifestyle, old age, family history, diabetes, food lacking fibers and rich in fat, inflammatory intestinal diseases, family history, etc., are the risk factors.
