Hello doctor,

I am 32 years old. My height is 157 cms and weight is 85 kgs. I am planning to enroll myself in a weight loss program, but I am confused about which one to choose. Does dieting helps reduce weight? My colleagues asked me to enroll in programs that include cardio, but I would like to know if cardio is effective. I am getting married next year, so is it possible for me to lose weight before my marriage? How to lose more weight in a limited time?

I understand your concern. Weight can be easily decreased by balancing energy expenditure and uptake. I suggest you increase fiber content and spend more energy doing aerobic exercise and yoga.
