Is it normal for a patient to experience clogged ears, pulsatile tinnitus, and hearing loss after a head injury?

Hello doctor,

I suffered a mild head injury six days ago. My ears got clogged after I hit my head. They still feel clogged, and I have occasional pulsatile tinnitus in my left ear. As a result, I have had hearing loss for a few years. Is this something that can happen after a head injury? I asked about it when I was in the ER.

I have had some discomfort in my throat for a few weeks now. I have had a swollen tonsil for years, which many doctors have examined. Now, with this new pain in my throat and odd symptoms, I am worried about throat cancer. Kindly help.

What causes persistent bumps on the left side behind the tonsils?

Hi doctor,

I have a few bumps that start below my tonsils (especially on my left side) and then trace back into my throat. They are constantly present, even though they might be hurtful at times. They had been there long, and I wondered what they were. I have had tonsil stones for the past 12 years. And currently on medication.

Can nasal steroids be used for long-term for chronic rhinosinusitis?

Hello doctor,

I am a 37-year-old female with a history of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps for the past 12 years. My current medications include Mometasone and Flixonase drops and Cetirizine. I underwent CT scans in the last year and this month, during which I was informed that surgery is not required, which is a positive development. Upon comparing the scans, I noticed an area near my eye that seems to have increased in size. I am concerned about the potential impact on my eye in the future and whether my ENT specialist compared it to the previous year's scan. I have attached both CT scans for your reference. I am worried about this. Should I consult my doctor regarding this? Please clarify.

Thank you.
