Medical Case Details:

46 years old female pateint a housewife complaining of pain in Right forearm starting from elbow to hands.

She is not able to do finger movement.

All the movements involving forearm and hands are affected.

Pain is relieved after taking analgesics and recur soon after that.

X-ray findings are normal.

What could be the cause..I have suspected ulnar nerve compression but it has involved all the phalanges.

What could be the line of management?

Dear doctor pandey ,
One of the latest research says "t has been suggested that combination of electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) tests can improve diagnostic accuracy by mapping out the location of pathological compression of the ulnar nerve, which would provide a relatively early diagnosis in patients who have symptoms suggestive of ulnar nerve lesions".
About treatment after we are confirm splint ,steroids and gabapentin has some good result in it !
