What are the diet tips to reduce 20 kg?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 24-year-old male. I am currently weighing 80 kilograms, and I am 5.3 in height. I am a B+ blood group person. The thing I need is to reduce 20 kg. I wanted to know how many kilometers I should walk daily to reduce weight. Should I follow a healthy low, calorie food? Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I suggest you take a high-fiber, low-fat diet followed by a detox diet. Drink plenty of water daily. Take small and frequent meals at regular intervals. Avoid outside food altogether. Please ask me directly for a personalized weight loss diet plan for you. You can finish 10,000 steps per day and do floor exercises. It would be best if you follow the diet chart mentioned below.

First-week detox diet:

7:00 AM lemon cinnamon water (1 glass).

8:00 AM vegetable sandwich (1 sandwich), skimmed milk(1 glass).

11:00 AM watermelon (1 cup, diced), almond(5 almonds).

1:00 PM masala khichdi (2 bowl), sprouts curd salad(1 bowl), low-fat curd kadhi (1 bowl).

3:30 PM buttermilk (1 glass).

4:00 PM green tea (1 teacup).

5:00 PM boiled chana(0.5 bowl).

8:30 PM chapati(2 pieces), palak paneer(1 bowl), cucumber.

9:00 PM skimmed milk (1 cup).

Timings of the meals you can constantly adjust according to your schedule but do not skip meals; please ask me if you need any alternatives or have any queries. You can connect with me for the second week's high-fiber, low-fat diet plan.

I hope you find it helpful.

Thanks and regards.
