How can I get lean soon?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am trying to get lean for the past one month. But, still, I have stubborn fat around my lower abdomen. I am doing full body lifts every day and high-intensity cardio exercise one to three times a week. I cannot lean out around my stomach 100 % while everywhere is fine. I know stubborn fat holds around the abdomen, but I want to lean out as best as I can.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. To lose body fat, we need to track our calorie budget and burnouts. First, work on your food groups, make sure you divide your meal into a right combination of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. As well to see good results it is always essential to have pre and post workout meals.

If you want to work on your body fat, then get your body composition done and find out what is the fat percentage at present. If we see the details given by you (attachment removed to protect patient identity), it shows you are on ideal body weight so now you need to gain muscle and lose body fat by personalized workout and diet plan.
