Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a woman aged 28 years. I have been working in a desktop job for the past two years and the amount of physical activity that I do has been reduced drastically. My periods are regular but it looks scanty. Often, I feel tired and spend sleepless nights. I feel it is all due to hormonal imbalance. Could you please suggest any exercise routine that can be followed on a regular basis? What are the simple stretches that I can do while working with the desktop? How many breaks are needed in a 9 to 5 job?
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for posting your query.
Exercise increases your overall health and your sense of well-being, which puts more pep in your step every day. But exercise also has some direct stress-busting benefits. It pumps up your endorphins. Physical activity may help bump up the production of your brain's feel-good neurotransmitters, called endorphins. Embrace the power of movement breaks take short walks around the office, stretch at your desk, or indulge in some desk exercises like squats, lunges, or calf raises. Not only will these breaks energize your body, but they will also recharge your mind, leading to enhanced productivity and mental clarity.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
