Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 30 years old. I do not smoke or drink but I feel that my facial muscles are getting loose. What could be the reason?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to iciniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern. When we reach around 30, our skin especially facial skin starts shrinking or loosening due to aging of the normal degenerative process. But you can follow some steps to maintain. Practice facial exercises as follows:

  1. Smiling hard enough.
  2. Opening your mouth wide enough.
  3. Laugh aloud.
  4. Blinking eyes.
  5. Raising eyebrows.
  6. Blowing a candle movement.
  7. Swelling up your cheeks with air inside one side after another.
  8. Old lady smiling, slightly close your eyes with smiling like an old lady without tooth.
  9. Winking of eyes deliberately.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
