Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I was told that I was poisoned. They said something about popping. Which poison could kill me in about 16 days? Please help.

Answered by Dr. Arul Amuthan L

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com. I read your query and understand your concern. Any poison can kill a person within two days or produce toxicity symptoms such as low or high heartbeats, breathing difficulty, vomit, diarrhea, abdominal pain, etc. These changes are reflected in blood enzymes and ECG (electrocardiogram) investigations. So we can diagnose and treat accordingly. If we do not treat it timely, it may lead to death after a few days. For example, it may be the 16th day. No poison suddenly kills you on the 16th day without any toxicity symptoms. Please share your toxicity symptoms so I can predict the poison. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I just got diarrhea today. Does it suggest something?

Answered by Dr. Arul Amuthan L

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com. I understand your concern. Allow diarrhea. It is a detoxification process that eliminates the poisons from the intestine. But if it continues for more than three days, consult a physician to stop it. Many times it stops spontaneously. I suggest you have curd or yogurt to detoxify and stop diarrhea. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
