Pain In Shin

Pain in the shin is associated with shin splints. However, there are other reasons that can cause pain, which include injury, stress fracture, or bone bruise. Usually, shin pain is relieved by taking rest, using ice packs, and elevating the legs. But when there is pain, bruising, abnormal shape, or sound from the shin it may require surgical intervention.
