Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 63-year-old male, detected with liver cirrhosis accidentally through ultrasonography which was to investigate an inguinal bulge two years back. I also have constipation, skin irritation, decreased food craving, and hardening along with itching below the area of the breast. At present, I am under medication from hepatologists and surgeons. I am currently on a low-salt low-fat protein diet. I have enclosed recent pathology and medicine prescriptions. Kindly suggest if medications can be used or if I have to undergo a surgery or transplant procedure.

Thank you very much, doctor.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I suggest you continue allopathic drugs mentioned in the prescription (attachments removed to protect the patients identity) and dietary practices along with the below mentioned drugs from Siddha.

a) Bhavana kadukkai - One chewable tablet, three times a day should be taken after food.

b) Mandoorathi kudineer - Add 10 grams of powder to three cups of water and boil it for 20 to 30 minutes to reduce it to one cup. Consume it in the morning and evening after food.

20 grams of powder can also be added to six cups of water which on boiling reduces to two cups.

Improvement can be seen by continuing the two drugs for at least three months. A normal liver cell number will be increased in numbers without the need for surgery or transplantation.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for your response.

I have ordered -Bhavana Kaddukai through the link provided. It is difficult to get Mandoorathi kudineer. Can Choorna be used as many stores are selling it? Can you please suggest where to get Mandoorathi kudineer?

Thank you very much doctor.

Hello,

Glad to have you back! I am here to help you get best medical advice.

Churna or chooranam means herbal powder. Mandoorathi choorna is same as mandoorathi kudineer . You can purchase it and prepare the mixture (kashayam) as per instruction given.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
