Siddha medicine is an ancient medical system. The word Siddha is called established truth. Agastya is the founder of Siddha medicine, and the other eighteen sidhars are known to be pillars of Siddha medicine. The principle of Siddha is theories of five elements (Aimpootham) and three forces (Mukkuttram). The eight methods of examination help to have diagnosis, etiology, and treatment of a disease.
