Hypomennorhea

Hypomenorrhea is a term given for less menstrual bleeding. This condition can be seen in females with anxiety, low weight, hormonal imbalance, and stress disorders. Siddha medicines like Raja Pravartini are most commonly used to avoid scanty periods. It is given from the 21st day after the period till the next period comes. This medicine is used in obese and secondary amenorrhea patients. This medicine should be taken only if it is advised by a professional. Another Siddha medicine, Lohasava, can be given in the liquid form daily in the morning and sometimes at night. It helps in reducing the effects of anemia and irregular periods.
