Hip Arthroplasty

Hip arthroplasty is a hip replacement surgery to relieve hip pain. The surgical procedure involves removing the damaged bone and cartilage in the hip joint and replacing it with artificial implants. There might be some pain and discomfort in the thigh and groin area after the surgery during the healing process. It takes ten to twelve weeks to return to normal activity and six months to one year to recover from the surgery completely.
