Coccydynia

Coccydynia refers to the pain felt in the coccyx. It is otherwise known as tailbone pain. The major symptom of coccydynia is pain and tenderness in the region above the buttocks. Causes of coccydynia include accident or injury, poor posture, the overweight or prolonged strain on the coccyx.
