Bacterial vaginosis, otherwise called vaginal bacteriosis, is an infection that causes vaginal inflammation due to the overgrowth of bacteria that are naturally found in the vagina. The symptoms of bacterial vaginosis are thin and white vaginal discharge, fishy vaginal odor, burning while urination, and vaginal itching.
