Achilles Tendinitis

The band of tissue known as the Achilles tendon joins the lower leg's calf muscles to the heel bone. Overuse of the Achilles tendon may cause inflammation. After jogging or engaging in other physical activity, Achilles tendinitis pain frequently starts as a minor soreness at the back of the leg or above the heel. Additionally, a person may feel tender or stiff, especially in the morning, which typically gets better with light exercise.
