Is an ovarian cyst during pregnancy dangerous?

Hi doctor,

I am seven weeks pregnant. A cyst in my left ovary was detected during ultrasound. My doctor advised me to wait eight weeks, and then the cyst may dissolve or be reduced. What should I do? Is this cyst dangerous?

Thanks.

Why am I not getting pregnant even after having regular sex?

Hello doctor,

I got married five months ago. My husband and I have planned for a baby in our first month. But I could not conceive for the past months. Even though we have regular contact, I am not able to conceive. I had a preliminary checkup with a gynecologist and found my Hb (hemoglobin) low. Then I underwent treatment, and my Hb level is 12.6 g/dl now. The issue we face during contact is that the sperm fluid is not entering the tubes.

Please advise.

Thank you.

What is the treatment for urinary tract and vaginal infections?

Hello doctor,

I am a 32-year-old female, suffering from fever and chills for four days. The fever on the first day subsided after taking Dexa and Para injections. I also suffered from nausea, poor appetite, severe body aches, and mild dysuria on the second day. I have been taking Ciplox 500 mg for the last two days. I am concerned about having a smelly vaginal discharge and pain in the left side lower abdomen region. Kindly help.

Thank you.

How to manage mild labor contractions occurring all day?

Hi doctor,

I am pregnant with my first child and I am 39 weeks and 3 days. I have been having mild contractions all day. For the past hour, they have been really intense and I have felt a lot of pressure. The midwife has told me not to come in as my contractions are still two minutes apart. I have just felt down below and I am slowly crowning. I am in agony and the midwife is determined that I do not need to go in yet. Shall I just go in?
