How to treat a person who cannot focus on bright light?
Hi doctor,
I think there is something wrong with me, and there are symptoms that occur daily. I cannot look at bright light anymore because, after that, I cannot see most things. This is because my eyes' pupils are a bit off from the center. Also, when I look at something for longer than usual, they tilt or move a bit, as I might stare at my iPad keyboard, and the word box looks tilted to different sides. I always feel conscious. I need help to grasp things like before or concentrate on anything. Even if I sleep for 12 hours, I will still be so tired, and no matter how much I rest, I cannot stop feeling sleepy. My speech has gotten slurred or weird. Finally, my family says I do not speak properly anymore. If this could be of any concern, the color of my eyes was so dark brown they were almost black, and you really could not differentiate the pupil, but now it has become too light, I can see the pupil. Please help.

What causes red eyes after stopping post-surgery eye drops?
Hello doctor,
I have had a retinal detachment surgery 7.5 months back with silicon oil. Four months back silicon oil was removed and at the same time cataract surgery was also done. This was my right eye. The vision in the eye is 6/9 with glasses in the operated eye and 6/6 in the other one. Since the first surgery 7.5 months back I am on Predforte eye drops. When I taper them off to 1, the eye starts getting red. My last eye exam was a month back and the retina specialist suggested to have one drop morning and evening for another 14 days. He said there is a subtle infection in the eye. However, when I stopped taking the drops after 15 days, the eye got red again and I restarted it and the redness was gone. I am worried about when I will be able to stop it. Can you please explain what may be the reason and how harmful it is to continue? The eye doctor (retina specialist) asked me to recheck after three months.

I am getting recurrent left eye pain with worsening eyesight. What is the problem?

I am 19 years old. I have pain in the corner of my left eye for the past one year. I went to the doctor, and he gave me Sterdex. I used it and felt better. My pain went away. After a few months, I started to have pain, but it was not so severe as the first time. I wear glasses and lenses, and I am treating my eye allergy with Chibro Cadron 5 ml, and for dry eyes, I use Fluidabak after taking the lens. Whenever I do my yearly eye checkup, my eyesight gets worse because of the pain in the corner, and I am scared about my sight. I do not know whether I use an appropriate medicine to my eye. Whenever I consult the doctor, he gives me the same medication. Please help me.

I have dark vision soon after I wake up. What is causing it?

Sometimes when I wake up, the eye that I was sleeping on, the vision will be dark as if I pressed on it too hard, and the vision comes back within seconds of sitting up or moving my head around. What is this?
