What could be the reason for a weak urine stream after sex?

Hello doctor,

I have always had a weak urine stream. I had medicines several times for bladder infections, never feel like I fully urinate. But lately, I have a bigger issue, I find myself not able to urinate sometimes, I recently realized if I ejaculate then it is worse. Two nights ago, after sex I went to urinate and not a drop, by morning I felt like I was gonna explode so I was headed to the ER when on the way it finally released. I decided to wait till I got home (I am a truck driver) to go see someone, probably tomorrow. I am currently able to urinate. I am a 36-year-old male, been going to the doctor all my life for bladder problems but this too much. Please help.

What causes recurrent scar-like bumps on the penile shaft?

Hello doctor,

I have noticed a scar like bump on my penis shaft, and it has not gone away for one month since I noticed it. I did have sex related sore in the same location several months earlier for what I believe to be friction burn, but have not been sexually active since one month. The mark does not cause me any discomfort and no change in appearance since I noticed it.

Can a woman with HSV-2 be able to spread the infection to a man without HSV-2 during sex?

Hello doctor,

I have some questions about herpes. If a woman having HSV-2 who does not have a flare-up or showing any signs of HSV-2 currently has unprotected vaginal intercourse with a man who does not have HSV-2 or any other STD, then what are the chance of her infecting him with HSV-2? What are the chances of her infecting him with HSV-2 if they used a condom during sex? Is it possible to transmit HSV-1 from kissing? I do not have herpes symptoms currently.

Kindly answer these questions.

Thank you.

Why does recurrent UTIs occur after taking powerful and costly antibiotics?

Hi doctor,

This is regarding my friend's dad, aged 76-years-old. He has had recurrent urinary tract infections in the past three months, and every time the culture shows up, some bacteria, I guess, E Coli. He also strains while passing urine and has weak power (stream). He has also already taken Nitrofurantoin, Augmentin duo, and Levobact 750 mg, but the recent culture still shows E coli. He has had high blood pressure and diabetes for the past 20 years, but well-maintained fasting blood sugar is usually between 80- 100 mg/dL, and BP is usually between 120- 130 mm Hg. He does not have a burning sensation while urinating, fever, pain in the back and has never seen blood in the urine. He is currently taking Urimax 0.4, Telma AT, Amlong 5 mg, and Glucomet tablets. Our doctor said there can be some blockage or obstruction and has suggested some tests like PSA and CT Urography. Please go through the attached reports and please clear our doubts,

Why is he always having infections and RBC in his urine? Why is it not going away after taking powerful and costly antibiotics? How to treat early renal parenchymal disease as seen on Ultrasound? He has albumin 80, creatinine 50, and Serum creatinine is 1.2 in urine. What does it signify, and how to treat it? Should we also do PSA and CTU as costly tests? What treatment do you advise?

Please guide us.
