Medical Case Details:

Hello, In the attachment, there is one of my patient's lab results. There is no symptom to mention or highlight. She tested negative with the rapid test, but the serology test turned positive today. What do you think? Should she take rest for another 2 weeks? Thank you.

Yes ma’am it’s better to take another test after 2 weeks because serology test is more confirmative then rapid. So ask patient to repeat test after 2 weeks. Till that patient can be in self isolation

Thank you Dr.Sugreev Singh for your confirmatory suggestions. I already asked to repeat after 2 weeks and self isolation. I hope the patient has not infected any one else when the disease was active.

Have a good day.

Ask her to have coconut water atleast 1 lit a day And daily atleast 20 mins under sun.
No problem will arise if she is infected.

Isolation with no sunlight may harm more.

Thank you Dr.Abhisek Bhattacharya,

Coconut is not easily found in our country, plus is a bit expensive. Instead, fresh orange, lemon and tangerine is commonly found in our country and value of money.

With regards to sun, unfortunately, we are on winter season with lots of rainy days, so the sun is a bit hidden these days. But, definitely, I have always recommended to stay under sun when it's possible. And to keep the windows open from time in time during the daytime.

Thank you again. Have a good day.
