Medical Case Details:
72 years old female patient presented with complaint of pain in lower left back tooth region since few days. examined her on video call. It seemed to be a huge mass of calculus in relation to lower left canine impinging alveolar ridge in relation to lateral incisor. Lower arch has only canine and first second premolar on left side and on right side also canine n premolars are there.
Patient had severe pain. prescribed her with antibiotics n anti inflammatory.
patient has relieve from pain. patient is chronic diabetic n has cardiac stent also.
please suggest probable differential diagnosis. can I proceed with dental extraction n calculus removal under antibiotic coverage. what else could be the probability other than calculus.
the solid mass is off white and hard.
