Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am 21 years old, but my weight is 83 lbs. I look very skinny. How can I gain weight? Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
I would suggest you opt for a call consultation making healthy food choices and reaching up to the required calorie count will be helpful. I still need many details for proper medical intervention so that I can provide a customized diet plan. Till then, I would suggest you follow these tips:
1. Take a protein diet including almonds, walnuts, vegetables, paneer, soya, tofu, lean meat, and egg.
2. Include chia seeds and flax seeds.
3. Do follow some muscle strengthing exercises.
4. Increase fluid intake.
5. Sleep for eight to nine hours daily.
6. Do meditation to avoid stress.
7. Do breathing exercises.
8. Try to take small frequent meals.
9. Do take a 2500 kcal diet, carbohydrates 40 %, protein 40 %, fat 20 %, and increase the fiber intake up to 30 % of your diet.
I hope this helps you.
Regards.
