Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
My friend is 28 years old and planning to get married, but she wanted to stay fit and healthy before that. She looks obese; her weight is 172 pounds, and her height is 5.2 feet. She tried many exercises and diet plans, but nothing seemed to work. She decided to visit a doctor, and he suggested a Semaglutide tablet. I did some online research and found that this drug is for diabetes. But my friend does not have any health issues. Then why was this drug suggested, and is that a steroid? Will it harm my friend’s health? Is this drug safe to take for weight loss?
Thanks.
