Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My 35-year-old sister has psoriasis that is affecting her yoga teaching career. The patches on her arms and legs are making her uncomfortable during classes. She cannot find a way to cover them during demonstrations.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Psoriasis is a condition that can be visibly seen on the skin and should be consulted as soon as possible. Skin specialists can prescribe more specialized medications for skin application.
And using some common modifications like:
Wearing full-sleeve clothes while demonstrating.
Taking virtual or online sessions more than in person to avoid direct contact with clients.
One should be very confident and should accept the challenges with grace.
Be more motivated and keep doing the practices without hesitation.
Make your clients know and understand the condition and remove any room for doubt.
I hope this helps.
Kindly follow up if you have more concerns.
Thank you.
