Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had cracking, and popping sounds in the area where my head connects to the spinal cord for two years. For the last few months, I have also been experiencing pain. I am currently using CBD 1000 mg per dose and taking 3000 mg to 4000 mg per day. CBD has relieved the pain, but the cracking sounds continue. What can I do to get back to normal? Kindly advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern and would be happy to help. You have muscle tension that is loading the facet joints unevenly. I suggest you apply ice to the areas where you have pain and cracking sounds. Also, support your neck while sleeping, gently stretch your neck muscles to relieve tension, drink lots of water and relax. Sleeping also helps in fast recovery. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
