Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am getting no erection in the morning. Rarely does it occur. Is it good or bad not to get an erection in the morning?
And I have masturbated over four years. Whether due to that reason, I am diseased. Also, I had a same-gender sex.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
You might have an erectile dysfunction problem, as the erection is poor, as per history. Usually, during sleep time in the morning, due to sympathetic stimulation, penis erection should occur for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour at such a young age. You need to rule out hypertension and diabetes problems by blood pressure measurement and random blood sugar estimation. It is advisable to check your serum testosterone level as well.
I suggest you consult a nearby psychiatrist or sexologist for a detailed evaluation. Masturbation is a safe and pleasure-giving procedure that usually does not lead to erectile dysfunction.
I hope this helps.
Please revert in case of further queries.
Thank you.
