Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Overall tightness in the right side of the body. Especially tightness in the right knee, above the knee cap leading to pain front and top of the knee. Also tightness in the groin on both sides. Unable to feel the groin stretch on the inside of the leg, more of a locking feeling at the upper inner groin and outer hip. I feel tight hamstring only on the right side.
I do not feel a stretch when stretching the right quad but do feel a stretch on the left. I also have right shoulder or discomfort and tightness. Tightness in the back lower right side and right hip looks to be slightly lower when standing.
Please help.
Thank you,
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
It may be due to weak muscles, apply Diclofenac ointment on the pain above the knee and shoulder, cover it up for 10 minutes, give it hot water therapy, try to slowly stretch your thigh muscles until you feel pain more, and relax, repeat it for twice a day. Take an Aceclofenac (painkiller) tablet for a day if you have more pain and for the shoulder do shoulder exercises at home.
After trying these if you still feel the pain after three days, you can go for ultrasound therapy following IFT (interferential therapy). This will surely help you get rid of the problem.
I hope that you get your answer.
Please let me know if you need any help.
Thank you.
