Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

What should I do if you have stiff and sore muscles? My feet hurt, and lot of tension headaches, and my neck hurt. I was in gymnastics yesterday. And I am overweight and my knees hurt.

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern and will try to help you with it.

I recommend you to do lot of icing and indulge yourself in relaxation therapy or plan for proper muscle recovery. For sore and stiff muscles lot of icing frequently in that area will help you.

For your foot issue. Do lot of icing in your calf and painful foot area once every two hours. Keep your foot immersed in lukewarm water before you sleep. I recommend you to kindly reduce impact work for your joints as they are harmful as you say that you are overweight. Instead, joining a gym class post burn workout will help you to keep your weight under control and increase your muscle strength as well. Do plan for lot of recovery sessions like swimming foam rolling massage therapy to relax your muscles. Sleep well. Take lots of fluids. Keep your mind calm will help you to reduce your tension headache.

Thank you for consulting me.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
