Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am wondering about the potential health benefits of adaptogens (reishi, ashwaganda, tulsi, maca, etc.) and superfoods (spirulina, goji berries, bee pollen, cacao, etc). Are these things proven to be beneficial for ourhealth? If so, what are the correct dosages for the diet and how can I ensure that I am getting good quality products since most of them come in the form of supplements that are not FDA regulated?
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Yes, these things are definitely beneficial for your health as they are natural sources of nutrition and they have natural health benefits. Tulsi is a natural antacid, spirulina is a good source of protein, and goji berries are rich in vitamin C.
Regards.
