Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 46-year-old woman and I do not have any health issues. I have been practicing yoga regularly to maintain fitness. However, I wanted to know about a diet that can keep me healthy and also slow down aging. Do any foods or ingredients have anti-aging properties? If so, I am interested in knowing about it. What kind of diet can be included regularly to prevent aging? Which foods should be avoided at this age? What is considered a healthy and safe diet? Please guide.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
Foods that support aging also include nuts, yogurt, whole grains such as black rice, and fatty fish, such as salmon. Green tea and raw honey may be helpful as well. Such foods can help with some of the visible signs of skin aging, along with systemic signs, such as thinning bones and cognitive function decline.
Protein-rich foods: As we age, our skin wrinkles from the weakening of collagen and elastin in our skin. Amino acids help rebuild and repair damaged skin. A diet high in protein-rich foods such as meat, fish, eggs, and nuts may help prevent wrinkling.
Foods to favor: Go for a Mediterranean-style diet. Vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low-fat dairy, and lean protein can help fight inflammation and keep you looking your best.
The best anti-aging foods to look younger include:
1: Avocados.
2: Broccoli.
3: Nuts.
4: Dark chocolate.
5: Sweet potatoes.
6: Tomatoes.
7: Fatty fish.
8: Pomegranate.
I hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards.
