Hi doctor,

I am planning to marry in the next two to three months. However, I am worried about my erection and stamina. My erection does not last for more than 30 seconds, and it is not hard enough. When I tried having sex for the first time two years back, I could not get a firm erection even after taking two Viagra (Sildenafil).

Please suggest some medicine or yoga for my problem.

Welcome to

Your reports are usual (attachments removed to preserve patients identity), so, no need to worry.

I suggest you go for 30 minutes of brisk walking in an open space (garden, park, roadside) with sunlight exposure (evening or morning times) to correct your vitamin D and cholesterol issues. No drugs are required for that.

I suggest you take more garlic to correct cholesterol issues in the food. In addition, I suggest you stop using Viagra (Sildenafil), as it is unnecessary for an average healthy person.

I suggest you follow the below advice for the next three months.

a) Soak groundnut or chick pea in water for 12 hours (at night). Then, the following day, wash it and eat after chewing with teeth. It can be taken as a morning snack or evening snack.

b) Tablet Thathu Kattu Mathirai (composed of Almond gum, Moringa gum, and Arabic gum) 200, twice every morning and night after food. It will take care of your erection-related issues. One piece of advice is, the lesser the sex activity, the higher the effect. So, reduce the frequency of sexual activity, including masturbation.

I also suggest you do one semen analysis. Then, if something goes wrong, we can correct it. If you have any doubt, contact me anytime.

Thank you.

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

Is there any side effect of taking Ashwagandha powder and Shilajit liquid, or can it work as an alternative to Thathu Kattu tablets?

Welcome back to

Both Ashwagandha (winter cherry) and Shilajit (mineral pitch) do not produce a side effect. However, slight weight gain and constipation will be there if consumed for a long time. But these two effects never trouble you; it is mild and tolerable.

Thathu Kattu drug is unique to strengthen sapta dhatus (seven body tissues), and the above two drugs are not an excellent alternative to this. Ashwagandha supports muscle, nerve, and semen, but it works slowly and steadily. You need to consume it for six months to get the result, whereas Thathu Kattu tablet shows the effect in a month.

If you plan for long-term therapy, Ashwagandha and Shilajit are fine.

Thank you.
