Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I heard about the health benefits of incorporating citrus into my diet, especially through drinks like lemon water. Can you provide personalized insights into the specific advantages of including citrus in my diet, any considerations based on my health and history of rheumatoid arthritis, and recommendations for maintaining a healthy diet that includes citrus beverages?
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com
Thank you for your query.
Yes, having warm lemon water early morning has many health benefits. First of all rich in vitamin C helps to build immunity and is good for cell recovery. Lemon water as it is citrus can stimulate your colon and can relieve constipation. Squeeze some (preferably half) lemon juice into water that is warm and sip it slowly, preferably in the morning. In addition, can have lemon jeera for good detox water. Later on, you squeeze freshly on salad fruits or cooked curries to add taste with health. It is water a soluble vitamin so no harm you can surely use one medium-sized lemon a day.
I hope this helps. Thank you.
