Hello doctor,
I am a healthy 24-year-old man, and my current BMI (body mass index) is 24.5. For personal reasons, I want to have a BMI of 17. How can I do that healthily in six months?

Alternative foods are mentioned below.
At early morning: water two glasses of water, along with soaked bengal gram/almond/lemon. You can also have water along with soaked fenugreek seed water, one glass. (Soak fenugreek seeds overnight, take only water in the early morning).
Breakfast: Oats meal, half bowl along with one piece of apple/sago porridge and brown bread, and one egg white.
Midmorning 11 a.m.: Green tea, one cup without sugar
Lunch 1.30 pm: Take two glasses of water with one cucumber before 15 minutes of lunch. You can have brown rice, half a cup, along with a stewed vegetable bowl or dal water, one cup, small fish or chicken, one piece, and sour curd, one cup.
Tea time 4 pm: Black or green tea without sugar
Evening snacks 5.30 p.m.: Vegetable or chicken stew half bowl with puffed rice with cucumber onion half bowl.
Dinner 9 p.m.: Roti one piece along with vegetable or paneer curry one bowl.
Advice:
1. Use flaxseed in any recipes.
2. Avoid fast foods, sugary products, and chocolate ice cream.
3. Regular exercise is a must.
4. Monitor your sugar level regularly.
5. Drink lots of water
6. Do not overeat.
