Pain near extracted tooth, feeling loose: Remedies?

Hello doctor,

I had a tooth removed a while back, and the tooth next to it feels lower down, and I get toothache every so often my dentist said there is nothing wrong, but I feel it is going to fall out or crack and I have pain when I bite down. I cannot eat the rest off my teeth without really biting down, and when I do it hurts and feels like it is pushing my tooth back up, I cannot even bite down gentle without it hurting.

Is it normal to have pain 10 days after tooth extraction?

Hello doctor,

I had a molar extracted 10 days ago, and I am now having severe pain. It was a simple extraction that did not even require stitches. I was prescribed Penicillin VK q.i.d for a week and a few tabs of TYL3, which did next to nothing. I had all four wisdom teeth out about 20 years ago with no complications, but I am now older, unemployed and have dealt unsuccessfully with a severe dental phobia that I have had since I was a small child. Please help.

Is removing broken teeth roots at gum line difficult?

Hello doctor,

Is it difficult for a dentist to remove the roots of the teeth that are broken off at the gum line? And will it be painful when they do it? I think the ones are teeth 12, 13, 16, 26, and 27. If there are any chances for the bones to get broken while they do it? How will they get them out? I am very scared, and how many injections will be given? I think they are breaking it into three appointments. what complications could occur as well?

How to treat a gum abscess spreading to the cheeks?

Hello doctor,

I have an abscess on my top left gum that is now spreading to my cheeks. I am 19. I had an abscess in the same place at 10 or other young age. Last time I went to the dentist they did not do the cleaning in the first appointment so I did not get one, but wisdom teeth removal was suggested. I have good teeth, bad gums. Also cracked my teeth when younger. So one of my two front teeth has a fake bottom (do not know if that is relevant). I do use a gel and just learned that it could be contributing.
