What leads to temporary sudden memory lapses?

Hello doctor,

I am having blood pressure and diabetes. Currently, I am using Triolmezest 40 mg and Starpress XL 25 mg for blood pressure and Glimestar-M1 for diabetes. All levels are normal including lipid, echo, HbA1c, etc. Two days back, all of a sudden, my neck started paining and there was a blurredness for sometime. After closing my eyes for few minutes, I was normal. Neck pain continued and after one period I was not able to recollect the names of the people for five to ten minutes and fully conscious. After 10 minutes, I was able to recollect everything. Of course, I was under little stress. Kindly suggest what could be the reason or is it normal for everybody? Kindly advise the precautions and any diagnostics. Longtime back, I was diagnosed for spondylitis but there is no pain usually.

Why is there tingling and numbness in the hand during sleep?

Hello doctor,

I have tingling and numbness in the arm and hand, particularly when I wake up from sleep. The right arm evidently has significant ulnar nerve conduction problems. Is there any evidence of nerve conduction problems in the left arm as well because I also have tingling and numbness in that arm at times? Currently, I am on Aloe vera 1-0-1 for blood pressure and cholesterol and Januvia for diabetes.

Can mixing Neoral with olive oil affect cyclosporine dosing?

Hello doctor,

I am a renal transplant patient taking Neoral 75 mg, Mycophenolate Mofetil 500 mg, and Prednisone 5 mg and would like to begin taking AST-120 to diminish the chronic decline of renal function typical in transplant patients. I was wondering how this is approached here, where I assume AST-120 is frequently used. Can you just mix Neoral with olive oil or do you have to switch patients to Sandimmune in order to avoid interference with cyclosporine dosing?

Kindly help.

Are there any side effects of Adalimumab injections?

Hello doctor,

I am a 26-year-old male. I am HLA-B27 positive (hereditary issue). I am suffering from joint pains since the last 16 years, I generally use Ultracet to suppress the pain. I have undergone a resurfacing surgery before nine years. Since then I have not taken any treatment.

I have visited a rheumatologist recently due to back pain, he had advised me to take Adalimumab injection for six months (once in 15 days). However, I am a little worried about the side effects, as my immunity is not so great. TB test is done, and the results are favorable.

Both my father and his brother had joint pains and both of them passed away due to kidney issues, so I always test myself for high creatinine frequently, fortunately so far everything is under control. So,

1. Is there any chance that Adalimumab injection might trigger a kidney ailment.

2. Can I go ahead to take the treatment ignoring the side effects? Please advice.
