Do stage IV lobular carcinomas benefit from chemotherapy?

Hi doctor,

The first case of cancer was on stage 3 ER+ invasive cancer of the left breast. Now, it is in stage IV invasive lobular carcinoma, with results of ER positive, PR positive, and HER2 with equivocal recurrent cancer. The site of disease is present on the abdominal lymph nodes and omentum with ascites and pleural effusions. Is the current treatment right? Are there any other tests recommended that helps to find more information? Any further recommendations required? Should we need to try clinical trials or immunotherapy? Please help.

My mom had hysterectomy for adenocarcinoma. Is radiation therapy compulsory?

Hello doctor,

My mother had complex endometrial hyperplasia for which surgery was fixed and last week, hysterectomy along with salpingo-oophorectomy and pelvic lymphonodectomy was done. After surgery, the parts were sent for histopathology. It was diagnosed as stage-2 endometrial adenocarcinoma. The lymph nodes were normal, uterus border was also normal and well-differentiated. Now, what is the treatment for this? Is radiation therapy required even after the removal of the entire uterus and its neighboring parts?

How do I get screened for cancer risk?

Hello doctor,

I am a 33-year-old male. My weight is 91 kg, and my height is 5 feet and 11 inches. How do I get screened for cancer? My mom died of lung cancer at the age of 52. My maternal uncle died of stomach cancer at the age of 50. I have a burning sensation in my stomach from the last three years. I did an ultrasound twice. It showed a fatty liver both times. But, I was not given any medicines. I have had a problem with piles for the last 16 years. I always have constipation. I tried changing my diet to include salads, vegetables, etc. I drink six liters of water every day. Also, I have other issues like back pain, tiredness, knee joint pain, persistent cough, headaches at night, and fatigue. Should I consult a doctor regarding these issues?

Can immunotherapy be started for lung cancer PD-L1?

Hello doctor,

My wife has lung cancer PD-L1. I need your advice regarding the continuation of this therapy. Docetaxel and Nintedanib are suggested. I think it is too heavy. I would prefer immunotherapy, if possible.
