Could altered menstrual cycle be related to intimacy?
Hi doctor,
My girlfriend is a virgin and we were intimate for two consecutive days last month. During that time, her periods were delayed by two weeks. I was careful not to ejaculate anywhere near her vagina nor was it knowingly in contact with my penis. She waited for another 10 days and since she did not get her periods. She had Meprate tablet twice a day for five days. Then, she got her period after another five days. The blood discharge was more on the first day and the bleeding diminished subsequently and it lasted only till the fourth day, though usually, it lasts for five days. Her period is due now for this month and still she does not have any menstrual symptoms.
Will she be pregnant? Please advise.

What would be the reason for irregular periods in a girl?
Hello doctor,
I have been having issues with on and off periods for nearly four years now. When my periods started, they were normal, neither heavy nor light, and nothing unusual. But, I started missing my cycle for about six months, and then I would come back completely normal. My last episode of missing my periods had lasted for nearly ten months, and I have had no unusual symptoms, discharge, or pain. I have been to my doctors twice, and I have had an ultrasound, which came back completely normal, blood tests, and hormone tests, which also did not pick up anything unusual. I want to get to the bottom of this problem. Is there anything else you think I could do? What do you reckon about this? I am not stressed, obese, or underweight. I do not smoke or drink. I am a healthy 18-year-old. Any of your advice would be very grateful. Thank you.

Is it safe to go in a 98 F pool while pregnant?
Hello doctor,
I found out that I am pregnant, and the next day I went to a spa. Knowing that hot tub and sauna are not good for me, the lady at the spa told me to go to the temperate pool, which was 98 F. I went for five minutes, and now I am so scared. Did I do something wrong? Please help.

Will antibiotics reduce the effect of Oral Contraceptive Pills?

I am using OCP Crisanta 21 for the last six months. Two weeks back, I went for a tooth extraction. So, I took antibiotic Magniclav 625 mg for five days. I had two tablets a day from 15th to 20th of last month. I started my current Crisanta pack on the 16th of last month. My question is can the antibiotic reduce the efficacy of oral contraceptive? If yes, then what is the solution? After how many days of last antibiotic should I need to take birth control pill? Can I solely rely on the contraceptive pill? Or is backup method required? Please explain.

How can I increase my breast milk production?
Hi doctor,
I am having a 1-month-old baby. I am giving breast milk and formula milk to my baby due to insufficient breast milk. However, my breast milk was not too low. I used to provide formula feed for one or two feeds. Three days back, I was sick, so I could not breastfeed my baby for one day. After recovery, my breast milk has dropped drastically and hard. I was able to pump only 10 ml per feeding which was 100 ml before. Is this because I have not breastfed or pumped milk for one day? I want to recover my milk supply. Kindly advise. Can I take a fenugreek supplement? Currently, I am giving formula milk to my baby, and I want to do breastfeeding. I am taking Razo D and Histac 180 for acidity and Livogen before breakfast and Shelcal in the afternoon.
