What can be done to treat vitiligo in the lower lip?

Hi doctor,

My daughter has vitiligo on her lower lip. It came to our notice this year, and we consulted a doctor immediately. The doctor gave Dicaris 150 mg to be taken on the weekends of every week for four months. She finished 32 Dicaris tablets so far. She also used Melbild lotion at night and sun exposure on the next morning for three months. Now it seems that the white patch is not stopped spreading. It has increased very little. I have uploaded images before taking Dicaris and present. Now we want to go for vitiligo surgery. But we have come to know that before the surgery, the patch should stop spreading. What should we do? Please help.

When I try to remove the flakes on my scalp, there is bleeding and crusting. Why?

Hello doctor,

I am suffering from two major problems from the past three years. Acne and marks and Sticky oily dandruff. Scalp flakes do not get dislodged even after shampooing. I have to dig my comb into the scalp to remove the flakes which lead to bleeding in certain areas and forms crusts. I have opted for light glycolic acid peels but did not make any difference and had few sittings of Nd: YAG laser hair removal. I have been through several treatments which made only things worse. I keep my face and hair very clean. I shampoo hair on alternate days, change pillow covers, wash face twice a day, and apply sunscreen while going out. I workout every day and follow a clean diet barring oily foods. Yet my face is oily, dull, full of blemishes and I get painful pimples. I want to remove my acne blemishes and revive my dull face. Take care of my super oily hair. Please help me. This is taking a toll on my confidence.

I have painless brown spots on the skin that grow. What is the treatment?

Hello doctor,

I have had these brown spots for the last 20 years. It grew from a small spot to this big in all these years, and it is still spreading slowly. It does not itch, nor does it pain, but when I get out in the sun, I feel a burning sensation all over the area. I once used Skinlite cream, and the spots were visibly lightened, but they reappeared. I want to know what medication I should take and what precautions to take so that it does not spread any more. Is there any way I can get rid of these spots? I have attached the pictures.
