I have very high cholesterol and blood sugar levels despite taking medications. Need help.
Hi doctor,
I am a 62-year-old male who is 5 feet tall and weighs about 175 pounds. I am a vegetarian, I have diabetes for the past 20 years, and my blood pressure is normal. Sometimes my cholesterol is high, and after taking Stanlip 145 mg tablet (one per day), it used to come down, but for the past month, I am not taking it, and in my recent blood test report, it has gone high. Earlier, for many years, I had a Gluconorm-G2 tablet (twice per day), Januvia 100 mg tablet twice daily, and Volix 0.2 mg tablet once daily. I met a doctor last year, and he asked me to change my food habit to low carbohydrates and moderate protein, and high fat; after following his diet schedule, I have reduced 9 pounds and stopped taking Gluconorm-G2 and Volix tablets, and was active till seven months back. After COVID-19, I could not follow the diet, and now when I checked the blood test this month, and found that my blood sugar level and cholesterol level are increased. I also take Clopitab 75 mg and Zincovit tablet 1 per day. I have attached my various blood test reports. Based on these reports, can you please suggest medications?

Why do I have burning sensation in stomach associated with back pain?

Can drinking extra alcohol at night still reveal high blood alcohol levels in the morning?
Hello doctor,
I was arrested for drunk driving and I believe I was maliciously spiked. I had drunk one glass of alcoholic wine, around 4.2 Oz and my friend poured me a glass of wine which was supposed to be non-alcoholic. I am a 5 feet 9 inches female, I weigh 168 lbs, I had not eaten since breakfast time, and drank the alcohol at 9 pm. My blood alcohol came back at 113 g/dL. I wondered if I would be under the limit without that second glass of wine. Please help.

I have chest tightness and mucus with acute bronchitis. Can I take Forocort?
Hi doctor,
I am 44 years old. I got flu symptoms two years back and after two weeks of slight chest pain. So my doctor prescribed Foracort 200 with Montair LC. Then in a few days, I got cured. Now, I have chest tightness and mucus but not much cough, no fever, and no running nose. It is looking like a flu cold followed by acute bronchitis. With home remedies, it is getting easier but still, mucus exists thus tightness of chest and throat periodically though not severe. It is there for around 10 days. I am a diabetic on Insulin. Can I use Forocort 200? If so, how many days and dose? Please advise.

I have burning chest pain with acid reflux and hot flushes. What should I do?
Hello doctor,
I have been having chest pain on the left side since a long time. It feels like burning sometimes and at other times it feels like pressure. I feel really tired most of the time and sometimes I feel a little light-headed, nauseous, irritated, and feel like coughing but I cannot. I also get tired mostly after eating. Occasionaly I get acid reflux like the food does not digested and I wake up in the middle of the night feeling like I cannot breathe and having heat flashes. What should I do?
