I have issues with the reconstructive surgery done on my right index fingertip. Kindly help.

Hello doctor,

I have a few questions about reconstructive surgery done on my right index fingertip. When I was two years old, my right index fingertip was chopped off by a bicycle chain. The doctor was able to reattach it without loss of feelings. But it has left me with major insecurity.

Is it fine if my incision site is still burning with pus discharge for more than six weeks?

Hello doctor,

I went into shock during my tummy tuck surgery, and the reason was unknown. My hemoglobin dropped to 5 g/dL, but it was 14.6 g/dL before the surgery. I was taken to the emergency room and returned home after one week of treatment with four blood transfusions. Still, my incision is not closed and discharging pus. The doctor said that the issue was because of improper sutures and removed them. But, I have been having a burning sensation at the site of the incision till now and taking tablet Cephalexin 500 mg for six weeks.

Kindly help.

Is it safe to take a steroid injection after liposuction around the jowl area?

Hello doctor,

I had a liposculpture procedure around my jowl area last month. And I was prescribed to take a five-day course of oral Prednisone and a steroid injection for a severe allergic reaction that is not related to the surgery. My question is, will the steroids injection ruin my overall result of the liposculpture?

Thank you.

I hit my chin after four days of fat graft surgery. Did I ruin the surgery?

Hello doctor,

I had a fat graft added to the chin, and I am very satisfied with the result. However, yesterday after four days of my surgery, I hit my lower chin by accident, and now there is a small red, tender spot there. Can it be that I have ruined some of the surgery, or will it be fine?

Will the skin lumps from taking volite skin booster injection aggravate with hyaluronidase?

Hello doctor,

I am 25 years old. I had taken volite skin booster dose three days back. Unfortunately, I started getting lumps on my skin at the injection site as it was injected superficially. The size of the lumps started reducing after 24 hours; however, I still have small lumps all over. I do not want to take the risk of using hyaluronidase because of its side effects. Is there any other way to clear the lumps? Should I be concerned?

Kindly advise.
